Zach M. Matthews
A native of Arkansas, Zach attended law school at the University of Tennessee, where he graduated with honors. His practice is primarily devoted to commercial insurance litigation, including premises liability, trucking, and business auto defense. He also provides clients with insurance coverage analysis. He has been successful in oral argument at both the state court level and before the Georgia Court of Appeals, and he has participated in a number of jury trials.
Zach is also an avid fly fisherman and a contributor to a number of national outdoor print magazines, most notably American Angler. He is currently the Southeast Field Editor for Fly Fisherman magazine, and has also written for Fish and Fly, Trout, and The Drake. In his spare time, Zach edits The Itinerant Angler, www.itinerantangler.com, a website dedicated to fly fishing.
Zach's writing skills have made him a very effective advocate for clients both on motions for summary judgment and at the appellate level. His success rate in getting appropriate matters resolved on summary judgment is excellent, thus saving clients many of the costs and expenses of trial.
