Richard C. Foster
Richie’s practice is dedicated primarily to motor carrier liability, commercial insurance coverage, and general commercial insurance defense. A former print journalist, Richie has authored numerous articles in the areas of motor carrier liability and coverage. Richie has served as national coverage counsel for his trucking clients and has argued coverage appellate cases before the federal Fourth Circuit, Eighth Circuit and Eleventh Circuit. Richie spearheads the firm’s 24-hour emergency response team that investigates major trucking accidents in Georgia and throughout the Southeast. In addition, as an in-the-trenches litigator, Richie has tried death, paralysis, and serious injury cases — involving both trucking and non-trucking clients — throughout Georgia and parts of the Southeast.
Richie is a former litigation instructor at Kennesaw State University and continues to provide seminars to his clients and to industry insiders. Upon his graduation from law school, Richie was a law clerk to the Honorable S. Lark Ingram of the Superior Court of Cobb County, Georgia.
Richie thinks he is an excellent fly-fisherman and he occasionally does some upland game hunting. Richie is also actively involved as a coach for his sons' youth league baseball teams

Born: 1965, Macon, Georgia. Education: B.S. Georgia College, 1988; J.D., Mercer University 1995; Member of Mercer Moot Court Board 1994-95. Admitted to Bar 1995. Former Litigation Instructor, Kennesaw State University. Member of State Bar of Georgia; Association for Transportation Law, Logistics & Policy; Transportation Law Association; Defense Research Institute; Trucking Industry Defense Association; Cobb County Bar Association; Insurance Section of State Bar; Christian Legal Society; and Atlanta Claims Association.
