William T. Casey, Jr.
Bill’s practice has focused on insurance defense litigation for more than 23 years. Bill is an experienced trial attorney who has written numerous articles and lectured on various insurance law and trial technique topics at seminars for clients and attorneys. His caseload covers premises liability (including rape, murder, slip and fall, electrocution and wrongful arrest cases), product liability, motor carrier liability, automobile liability and coverage disputes. Bill has been involved in a number of high exposure electric power line contact cases in defense of rural electric cooperatives. He has tried over 100 cases to verdict including cases involving wrongful death and catastrophic injuries. Bill has also been involved in a number of high-profile appeals in the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, including one of the leading cases on landowner liability for the criminal acts of third parties.
Bill has been actively involved in his community, serving as President of the Rotary Club of Marietta, Special Olympics Basketball Coach, Chair of the Cobb County Special Olympics Committee and Treasurer of Cobb Family Resources. Bill is a baseball fan and outdoorsman, who enjoys hunting and fly fishing.
